Queen Naija – A Blue Rose In America

Queen Naija – A Blue Rose In America

Born October 17, 1995 in Michigan, Queen Naija is one of the newest, hottest, on the rise entertainers today.  At the age 19 she married her childhood boyfriend Chris Sails and they had a son together. The couple began documenting their lives on YouTube doing pranks, challenges, reactions, story times, vlogs, and releasing their music as YouTubers. Gaining fast popularity, the family of three entertained the YouTube community with much success. They were able to move from Michigan to Houston, Texas and live a more financially free lifestyle.

Here’s the tea:  More money, more problems is a saying that fit their situation for sure.  Being in the public eye can be difficult for anyone, especially a young married couple.  On September 11, 2016, Chris and Queen released a tale-tale lyrics slideshow video on their joint YouTube channel titled “Maybe” featuring and artist named YahBoySodah ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ay_UwFN3d8Y ). They made the tune their intro song for future videos.  As time progressed,  the public continued to see the #relationshipgoals aspect of their relationship but did not yet realize that their song held truth as to the reality of where Chris and Queen stood in their marriage.  They would go on to release more tale-tale songs that were good, but lacked that “hit” factor.  On April 4, 2017 Queen started her own YouTube Channel to begin branding herself as an individual and uploaded there in addition to still providing content on the couple’s shared channel. Now a singer, songwriter, vlogger, and actress (yes, youtubers “act” a lot), she was slowly coming into her own.

As time went on they continued to show #relationshipgoals online ,though periodically they would release music that told a different tale.  They experienced a miscarriage, and Queen’s depression became more visible.  Nothing was confirmed about problems in their relationship truly until September 2017 when Chris’ cheating was exposed to the world via internet by the women he was sleeping around with.  It then came out that this was not a new problem for the duo.  Though publicly humiliated, Queen tried to forgive her husband but things continued to get worst and worst between them as more and more “receipts” of his infidelity kept surfacing.  No matter how much they tried, they were not  happy with each other or in their marriage and could no longer fake it.

Finally, on October 13, 2017, a video titled “I Broke Down” was released on her channel ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfFky8av4fg ) , where on teary eyed Queen while camera made the discovery that her relationship was over.  Though visibly broken, Queen assured her viewers that she was okay and would be okay, that she was just having an emotional moment while sitting in her car alone and just vibing to music. Though it hurt to see her hurting, I loved when she said “I still look pretty when I cry, wow”.

On December 31, 2017 Queen Naija released her hit “Medicine” ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhKksAjzJis ) as an explanation to what was going on in failed relationship, which was soon picked up by the popular media outlet Genius.Com and would soon make the Hot 100 BillBoard Charts ( and the top 10 on the Emerging Artists chart ).  Days later showing full confidence in herself on January 5, 2018 she released her video “The Reason Why I Left”  ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tf8FPI30EkI  ) she announcing to the world that she left Sails and their separation/divorce was in the process, telling the world to listen to “Medicine” for the explanation as to why her marriage was finally over.

“Medicine” changed everything for Queen.  The popular media site Genius pasted Medicine’s lyrics on the same day it was released (December 31, 2017) and invited Queen to Brooklyn, New York to interview her, which was posted on their site on January 23, 2018. Then on March 29, 2018, she released the much anticipated Official Video for her hit song “Medicine” . The video starred Chris look-a-like and fellow YouTuber D Rock TV and her close friend/colleague and rumored love interest Clarence White aka ClarenceNYC TV (who plays her “revenge” love interest in the video) ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dc89yyOS0Z8 ).  Standing on her own two feet as a now single independent woman, she is now managed by Clarence’s sister Lee aka PIO through Spicy Management, who also manages Clarence and Mod Da God. Good management pays off because on April 27, 2018 she received a record deal and is signed to Capital Records which she announced via a made for Instagram video ( https://www.instagram.com/p/BiFshAohSMW/?taken-by=queennaija ).

It’s amazing how GOD shows up and shows out, as evident in Queen Naija’s story.  Juggling family and career, she is still uploading content online as a popular YouTuber . She has been through so much, but at the now age of 22 years old, she holds her head up high each and every day.  She is human like everyone else, so she has her ups and downs.  She doesn’t let anything stop her, though.  Standing triumphant yet humble, she is promoting her music throughout the United States via radio appearances, interviews, and performances with Spicy Management in tow. Co-parenting now as a single mother, she’s  building an empire for herself, her son,  and her family. Working hard has it’s rewards, as she was recently able to put her mom in a new car and new home. Things are looking all the way up for this new songstress who gives GOD all the glory for her success.  She will soon be releasing her first EP, and then later an Album. We can’t wait!

On Twitter, she calls herself Blue Rose, which shows that she is not the typical woman at all.  Unique in her own way, so many supporters are praying for her continued success.  And why not?  She deserves it! We greatly appreciate her for letting us see her living her best life via social media posts and videos, and watching her bloom into stardom.  As for the rumors about her romantic involvement with Clarence NYC. whom she fondly calls “Clare Bear”  (which all of her supporters are hoping for despite constant denials because they have such great chemistry together and he, after-all, was and is admittedly her “instagram crush”)..her pinned twitter post from January 30, 2018 says it all, “Sometimes people just need you to be there, and listen, and not want anything in return. And sometimes, that’s okay. That’s what real friends are for.”

Wishing Queen Naija and Spicy Management much continued success,
