The Harry Potter actors appearing at Manchester’s DraigCon event next month have been revealed.
We reported back in March how The Printworks will once again be transformed into Diagon Alley as the two-day Harry Potter fan convention descends on the city.
DraigCon will feature a Magic Market Street with Harry Potter themed traders, appearances from cast members, Q&A sessions with cast and crew and lots more.
It first came to the city last year when hundreds of people – young and old – donned capes and hats to indulge their passion for JK Rowling’s world of wizardry.
The list of actors appearing at the event include Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley), James Payton (Frank Longbottom), Josh Herdman (Gregory Goyle) and Scarlett Byrne (Pansy Parkinson) with more still to be announced.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet actors from the films in autograph and photography sessions throughout the event, which takes place on Saturday, July 6 and Sunday, July 7.
Multiple venues throughout The Printworks will feature ‘the best wizardry attractions from 2018 along with some wondrous new sideshows’.
Organisers are promising ‘wild and fantastical animals’, the chance for some participants to get on stage and to ask the actors questions personally, ‘amazing props’ and much more.
Fancy dress is, of course, strongly encouraged so dig out your Hogwarts scarves, invisibility cloaks and wands.
Early bird tickets are now on sale for the event and organisers say because of the number of shows available there is now a weekend pass and VIP passes giving priority access to talks and shows, queue jumps and more.
