Intro

The definition of magazine is a periodical publication containing articles and illustrations, typically covering a particular subject. It is also a regular television or radio program comprising a variety of topical news or entertainment items. Synonyms for “magazine” are journal – periodical – warehouse – storehouse – review.

Then…who we were: 2008-2011 :

On The Rise Magazine is the brainchild of publicist Attica Lundy.  It is a warehouse  of news about some of the hottest upcoming talent in the world (Oftentimes you’ll see them here for the first time).  We provide those in the entertainment industry- artists, athletes, models, actors, small business’s etc–an opportunity to gain global exposure; a promotional outlet that is oftentimes needed to further their careers in their various industries. We are primarily staffed by a community of publicists and writers that believe in the power of exposure and support the “come up” by talent who is on the rise.   2012 : On The Rise Magazine suffered a server crash that would inevitable delete all past records of talent.  However, the talent that were written about have been and are being reached out to and invited to once again share their story after the January 1, 2013 new site debut. With over 290,000 subscribers from over 200 different countries worldwide, our readers would love to find out what’s going on outside of mainstream entertainment, sports, and literature.

We, the On The Rise community, are forever changing.  New talent is born everyday, but how many opportunities do they get to shine? ~Attica Lundy Cooper/Creator&CEO On The Rise Media
