Louisiana native MGM Stanlo is an independent artist from the Southside of Monroe, LA. He displays his raw talents through rapping and songwriting with exceptional punchlines. Stanlo has spent several years making a name for himself on the local rap scene. Stanlo has combined his love for music with the greedy street life that he had to endure as a youth. Stanlo has been grinding over the years and is ready to hit the mainstream with a new sound from the south.
Stanley Richardson started rapping in jr. high school where Stanlo began listening to artist like Lil Wayne, Juvenile, and Boosie that inspired Stanlo to partner with local rapper MGM Yung Reed. The two have been making music together since jr high school and ultimately founded Made Gang Music back in 2016. Dropping single after single, the group were putting in the work to established themselves as artists.
Stanlo took a higher interest in creating new sounds and tapping into sharing the lifestyle of a true hustler and living a life in the streets. Since 2016, Stanlo has consistently dropped music. Singles like “Make A Play,””Eye One The Prize, “Facetime” and “Flexin”. He voiced his frustration for police brutality and racial injustice with a song and video titled “Don’t Shoot”.
As he continues to find his sound and grow as an artist, Stanlo later released his first mixtape under the Made Gang Music label “Tha Lo Way”. With the purpose of unleashing the truth about the different situations of being involved in the streets.
