Prominent Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, son of veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has revealed that his colleague actor Nonso Diobi at a time, housed him and many other newbies in the movie industry in his own house in Lagos and never complained.
The actor made this revelation on Twitter when he was responding to a compilation of Top 20 Nollywood actors of all time, put together by one Twitter user.
According to Yul, this is the reason why he will always celebrate his colleague, insisting that Nonso is always ready to assist and encourage.
He wrote, ” Nonso Diobi housed many upcoming actors then in Lagos, including me. He would never complain. Always ready to assist & encourage. I’ll never stop celebrating him cos good people are hard to find. Great Soul. Ezigbo mmadu”.

Nonso Diobi is a multiple award-winning Nigerian actor and film director. While studying Theatre Art at the University of Nigeria, He made his debut on-screen appearance in a 2001 film titled Border Line followed by an outstanding performance in the movie titled “Hatred”. Nonso Diobi went on to give a sterling performance in the movie ‘Across the bridge’ which gave him his major breakthrough after which he became a household name across Africa.
