AMC’s new “Walking Dead” series is looking for extras for filming that’ll start in Richmond in July and wrap up in November.
Kendall Cooper Casting is looking for local people of all ethnicities, ages, genders and types to play various characters throughout the series. It’s also seeking actors with a background in movement or dance, with open availability and a flexible schedule.
Email submissions can be sent to RVAextras@KendallCooperCasting .com, with the subject line as “WALKING DEAD” for non-union applicants, or “SAG SUBMISSION” for members of SAG/AFTRA.
Email submissions should include three current photos, including one close-up of the face and two full-body photos. It should include a name, phone number, email address, city and state of current residence, union status (if SAG, please include SAG number), age or age range (birthday if under 18), height and weight, and clothing measurements.
It should also indicate whether the applicant has any tattoos and a description of each, specialty movement/dance/athletic experience, schedule flexibility, and available transportation, along with a description and photo of the vehicle. Headshots and résumés are also accepted.
