The Harry Potter actors who will be visiting Perth as part of the Riverside light nights have been revealed.

Chris Rankin, who plays Percy Weasley, and Jamie Waylett and Josh Herdman who play Crabbe and Goyle, will be meeting with fans at the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry event at the Norie-Miller Walk in Perth.

In the books and films, Percy Weasley is best known as being Ron Weasley’s older brother, while Crabbe and Goyle are the Slytherin sidekicks of Draco Malfoy.

The event will take place on Tuesday, January 28 and Wednesday, January 29 and is part of the wider Riverside light nights festival.

Chris said he was excited about the event.

He said: “I am looking forward to attending Perth’s Riverside light festival and the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

“It looks like a magical setting and I can’t wait to meet some fellow witches and wizards.”

Josh Herdman added: “I am really looking forward to seeing the beautiful city of Perth.

“I love visiting Scotland to meet fans and what better location to do this than on the banks of the River Tay at such an amazing festival.”
