Netflix dropped Blood and Water today (Wednesday, May 20) with six episodes available at once. The show is the latest teen drama from the US streaming service and features a cast of up and coming actors. Express.co.uk takes a look at the cast of Blood and Water and where you may have seen the stars before.

Who is in the cast of Blood and Water on Netflix?
The show follows a teenager living in Cape Town, South Africa obsessed with finding her sister, who was kidnapped at birth.
She goes this infiltrating a private school Parkhurst College and ingratiating herself with the student community in a bid to find the truth.
Blood and Water is the latest Netflix Original to come out of Africa and comes hot on the heels of spy series Queen Sono, which was released back in February.
The series is part of Netflix’s plans to expand into the African market and produce more content from the region.

The programme-makers went through a long casting process to find the right performers for Blood and Water.
Director Nosipho Dumisa said: “Blood & Water presented us with the opportunity to bring a mixture of fresh new faces alongside seasoned actors.
“After seeing hundreds of actors and newcomers from both Cape Town and Johannesburg, we’re excited to be a part of opening up the industry.”
After dropping globally on Netflix, Blood and Water is likely to make huge stars of its young cast.

Puleng Khumalo – Ama Qamata
Taking on the lead role of determined teen Puleng Khumalo is actress Ama Qamata.
Prior to Blood and Water, the actress had roles in My Perfect Family, Rhythm City.
Fikile “Fiks’’ Bhele – Khosi Ngema
Joining her will be Khosi Ngema as rich girl Fikile “Fiks’’ Bhele, whom Puleng believes could be her long-lost sister.
Blood and Water marks Ngema’s debut role but is unlikely to be last.

Karabo “KB” Molapo – Thabang Molaba
In the role of resident bad boy and student desperate for his father’s approval Karabo “KB” Molapo is rising star Thabang Molaba.
This is also a first-time role of Molaba, who describes himself as an artist, musician and digital entrepreneur on his Instagram account.
Wade Daniels – Dillon Windvogel
Taking on the part of Puleng’s friend and ally Wade Daniels is Dillon Windvogel.
According to IMDb, Windvogel has starred in short films Bhai’s Café and Mr the Fastest, along with TV series danZ! and Arendsvlei.
Wendy Dlamini – Natasha Thahane
Natasha Thahane plays the role of the outspoken and “woke” Wendy Dlamini, who also attends Parkhurst College.
She has credits in the TV series Lockdown as well as The Queen and Skeem Saam.
Chris Ackerman – Arno Greeff
Actor Arno Greeff portrays Chris Ackerman after numerous roles in TV shows including Tydelik Terminaal, Playboyz, Desember and Vaselinetjie.
Other cast members include Gail Mabalane, Sello Maake, Ryle De Morny, Getmore Sithole, Xolile Tshabalala, Sandi Schultz, Monique Rockman and Cindy Mahlangu
