Actors often ask how can they learn more about what they can do here in Los Angeles, and where they can find resources.
There is an event coming up that is very helpful for the Los Angeles actor. This event is the Actors Pro Expo (APE) and is coming up in November. Best of all is it is FREE. I am dedicating this month’s blog to information on this event.
WHAT: Actors Pro Expo
WHEN: Saturday, November 16th 10am-6pm
WHERE: Hyatt Regency Los Angeles International Airport
6225 West Century Boulevard
Los Angeles
CA 90045
APE is a great, free-admission trade show for actors. There are free and paid seminars, open casting calls, career-building sessions and networking opportunities.
Actors Pro Expo was set up by actors for actors to help and encourage them in all areas of their life as a professional. The trade show help creatives develop and sustain their career and to create new opportunities for themselves. They do this by creating an environment where attendees can meet other industry professionals.
General admission is free and their extensive range of workshops and seminars focus on craft as well as supplying essential advice on the practicalities of working within the industry.
On top of all this, the expo’s open casting call’s gives actors the chance to secure roles in a film or theatre production.
Whether you’re a working actor, just out of school, or anything in between – this event can help you take your career to the next level!
Last year this event was attended by over 3000 actors and the best part? General admission is FREE!
Meet a comprehensive group of exhibitors with all the tools you need to thrive as an artist, learn how to treat your acting career like a business, and network with fellow creatives all in one action-packed day.

I highly recommend it. I’ll be there and if you go, stop at my booth, introduce yourself and say hi to me.
