This international entrepreneurial sensation hails from the lustrous mountains of Asheville, NC. He has always exhibited a go-getter mentality which has afforded him the opportunity to chase his dreams and catch them. Early on in life, Nicholas ‘Redd’ Scott Sr. was surrounded by entrepreneurs all in the business of having their own businesses. It was quite natural that ‘Redd’ would follow in the steps of the greats in his family and begin his own businesses.
Redd has been an entrepreneur since as early as he can remember, collecting contacts and meeting new people came naturally. He built a major network in the 90’s while pursuing his calling as a poet. Speaking at open mics and mixing and mingling with intellectual greats from Asheville to Atlanta, Redd climbed his way up the ladder of success and began making major moves. He launched his first official business, “Redd Marketing” in 2004, serving clients from club promoters to corporate giants. Through“Redd Marketing”, he provided professional flyers, brochures, and graphics for clients, while maintaining his 9-5 as a leasing consultant for some of the most renowned apartment management companies.
“Redd Marketing” was certainly the start of a major mogul empire, we will call “The Redd Dynasty.” Success followed and Redd’s years of constant grinding and ‘Hustling’ paired him with Hotep, a like-minded, business partner. Redd spent years studying and speaking at Hustler’s University seminars and functions; teaching others the principles necessary to make it as an entrepreneur, such as work ethic, professionalism, networking, persistence, teamwork, and of course, the H.U.S.T.L.E.
Years later, Redd transferred his knowledge and experience to another business design and tackled an untapped market to formulate “Redd’s Buttons”. “Redd’s Buttons” has been a silent victory in the entrepreneurial realm. The concept has swept the streets of Atlanta and throughout the nation. “Put It On A Button” is the motto that Redd adamantly pushes to his clientele, encouraging them to advertise with buttons rather than cumbersome business cards or flyers. Wildly successful, Redd prides “Redd’s Buttons” as being a reasonable marketing outlet to the On The Rise community, charging minimal prices for his buttons.
“The Redd Dynasty” became a major entity, with accolades such as publishing credits in “Hustle While You Work” By Hotep of HustleUniversity.org, a noteworthy contact list of entrepreneurs and investors, a professional resume that includes public speaking, mentorship, and a mega fan base of satisfied clients and supporters.
Today, Mr. Nicholas ‘Redd’ Scott Sr. is a father of 3 beautiful children and is supported by his loving Queen, Devin. As an acclaimed professional in the apartment leasing field and a natural educator and coach, Redd found it time to publish his own book. Now, the mega-successful entrepreneur has officially added ‘Author’ to his resume and launching his book, “12 Habits of Great Apartment Leasing Consultants” is a major milestone for Redd.
