Spring Time hits Louisville, Kentucky. The weather breaks along with The Kentucky Derby and with it brings so many festivities with top notch celebrities. But for most “The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports ” doesn’t matter when FAO, I-65 Nation, and Startin5ive come together to present a full weekend of events. When “Starting off Friday night (Oaks Day) Club Live”(Formerly O’Malleys) debuts to be the stage and forefront, Freebandz own Future, who also brings the #MonsterVsBeastModeTour along with 2015 XXL Top 10 nominee: StreetMoney Worldwide’s own Bankroll Fresh to start off – here is an epic event not to miss. These genius businessmen, Bryson Hall (Bun) and Jody always have a trick up their sleeve to give top of the line entertainment to the Louisville, Kentucky area. Together, they have a well built resume over the past years to prove why they’re the “Kings Of The Nightlife”.
Imagine placing the young veterans of promotions, the up coming breed of DJs, Top of the line models, along with the “Who’s Who” in attendance. I became a witness to see why Future holds the alias “Fire Marshall Future”. Startin5ive’s own, DJ Nino Huff blessed Club Liv along with Quality Controls own DJ Champ and DJ HD. The attendance level in Liv was shoulder to shoulder. Former University of Louisville Forward, Chane Behanan was front row along DirtyFork DJs own DJ Murph awaiting the main event. BankRoll Fresh first performance in Louisville is well received stamping his StreetMoney brand. HoodRichs own DJ PrettyBoy Tank and Fresh turnt up the crowd while performing street approved singles “ESPN”, “Trap”, and “Hot Boy”. After his performance I spoke briefly with Tank and Fresh about his visit in the Derby City. He loves the response to his singles and rapid growing buzz in the market.
Some will say that Future has created a “New Testament” to his classic Mixtape series. DJ Esco gets the club geeked with Future a’capellas leading up to the moments he touches the stage. Camera phones light up the building. With mixtapes Monster, Beast Mode, and 56 Nights has created a new soundtrack to the streets while maintaining his heavily radio presence. Once the FreeBandz Commander in Chief starts going in the barricades are surrounded from ecstatic female fans and very high energy in the prime hours of the morning. An event so epic that the energy that’s so inspiring touches the fans on another level – and this happens every time Bun and Future comes together.
Post Derby Coles always and forever will be the signature Sunday club night. Paper Route Empire, Young Dolph the main attraction within the venue. Dolph also brings the Go Get The Money Tour to Coles outside area is well lit with perfect weather for entertainment and to kick back. Located in the heart of West Louisville the go getters and club regulars are ready. A1/Freebandz own “Lionheart” entertains and keeps the sold out crowd “Juiced Up”. Dolph lights up while being introduced and goes in. Dolph focus on the tracks that are in heavy rotation from the “High Class Street Music 5” tape which upholds authentic the Dolph formula. Songs such Pulled Up, Go Get The Money, Make The World Go Round, and Preach are recited like street scriptures without the Paper Route Empire boss man having to perform his self. He even brings back Preach after the crowd recites every lyric so he the perform it for his loyal cultlike fan base. Post show Young Dolph is still in Coles buying Bar B Que, taking pics, shaking hands with his fans.
The weekend festivities lived up to the expectations to be the perfect most Derby in a while. Perfect weather, event filled weekend, and unforgettable performances- what else could you ask for? This event definitely show the upgrade on nightlife entertainment and makes Louisville become more recognized in the entertainment industry from the unique embrace that displayed. Another successful move for the party entrepreneurs of FAO, I-65 Nation, and Startin5ive along with presenting an blockbuster weekend. Stay tuned to who comes next!
Sit back and enjoy the show!
